Here’s how e-Transfers® work:

 

Sending an Interac e-Transfer®

  1. Log in to CU@HOME.
  2. Click on Transfers (or Interac e-Transfers®), then Send Interac e-Transfer® (or Send Money).
  3. If this is your first time sending an e-Transfer, you will have to set up your sender profile by filling out your personal information.
  4. Choose a recipient’s name–or click Add New Recipient–and then fill out the recipient’s information, including a security question they will be prompted to answer to deposit the e-Transfer into their account and the correct answer that they must provide.
  5. In the Send By box, choose a method of sending the notification (Email / Mobile phone / Email and Mobile Phone).
  6. Select the account to make the e-Transfer from.
  7. In the Amount box, enter the amount in Canadian funds to be transferred to the recipient.
  8. In the Message box, you can enter an optional message to the recipient; this could be a note about the transfer or an invoice number, for instance. Do not use this area to pass along the answer to the security question.
  9. Click Send Transfer.
  10. Confirm the details of the e-Transfer on the next page and, if everything is correct, click Confirm.

 

 Receiving an Interac e-Transfer®

  1. Click the link in the email message you received notifying you of the e-Transfer.
  2. In the Select Province or Territory drop-down box, choose Manitoba, and in the Select Credit Union drop-down, choose Westoba Credit Union Ltd.  Click Deposit.
  3. If you are not currently logged into CU@HOME, you will be brought to the CU@HOME login page. Log in.  If you have not created a sender profile, you must create it now.
  4. In the Answer box, provide the answer to the security question.  Click Continue.
  5. Click the radio button beside Accept this transfer and place it in account.
  6. Select the account you wish to deposit the funds into.
  7. In the Message to Sender box, type an optional message that will be sent to the sender.
  8. Click Continue.
  9. Confirm the details of the receipt of the e-Transfer, click Confirm.

 

Creating a Sender Profile

  1. Enter your name in the Name box.
  2. Enter your email address in the Email box. Please double-check it for accuracy.
  3. Optionally, enter your mobile phone number in the Mobile Phone Number box.
  4. In the Receive Notices By drop-down box, choose the method of receiving e-Transfer notifications (Email / Email and mobile phone).
  5. Click Create Profile.

 

Editing a Sender Profile

  1. Log in to CU@HOME.
  2. Click on Transfers, then Send Interac e-Transfer (or Interac e-Transfers for mobile users) then Edit Sender Profile.
  3. Make any changes you wish to your profile.
  4. Do not leave Name or Email boxes blank; these are required fields.
  5. When done, click Continue (or Update Profile for mobile users).

 

Adding / Deleting / Editing Recipients (Desktop Instructions)

  1. Log in to CU@HOME.
  2. Click on Transfers, then Send Interac e-Transfer then Edit Recipients.
  3. To add a recipient: click Add Recipient then fill out the recipient’s information.
  4. To delete a recipient: click Delete to the right of the recipient’s name then click Confirm.
  5. To edit a recipient: click Edit to the right of the recipient’s name, make any desired changes to the information, click Continue and then on the confirmation screen that follows, click Confirm.

 

Adding / Deleting / Editing Recipients (Mobile Instructions)

  1. Log in to CU@HOME.
  2. Click on Interac e-Transfers, then Recipients.
  3. To add a recipient: click Add New Recipient then fill out the recipient’s information.
  4. To delete a recipient: select the recipient to be deleted, click Delete then click Confirm.
  5. To edit a recipient: select the recipient to be edited, click Edit, make any desired changes to the information.

 

View Pending / Resend Notices / Cancel e-Transfers (Desktop Instructions)

  1. Log in to CU@HOME.
  2. Click on Transfers, then Send Interac e-Transfer then click Pending or View/Resend/Cancel Pending Transfers. This allows you to view your pending e-Transfers.
  3. To resend an e-Transfer notice: click Resend Notice beside the pending e-Transfer, choose Confirm and the notice will be resent.
  4. To cancel an e-Transfer: click Cancel beside the pending e-Transfer, choose Continue and the e-Transfer will be cancelled and the recipient notified.

 

View Pending / Resend Notices / Cancel e-Transfers (Mobile Instructions)

  1. Log in to CU@HOME.
  2. Click on Interac e-Transfers, then Pending Transfers. This allows you to view your pending e-Transfers.
  3. To resend an e-Transfer notice: click Resend Notice beside the pending e-Transfer, choose Confirm and the notice will be resent.
  4. To cancel an e-Transfer: click Cancel beside the pending e-Transfer; you may enter an optional message that will be sent to the recipient. Choose Confirm and the e-Transfer will be cancelled and the recipient notified.

 

View e-Transfer History (Available on Desktop Only)

  1. Log in to CU@HOME.
  2. Click on Transfers, then Send Interac e-Transfer then click History.
  3. Provide a start date in the From box and an end date in the To box then click Continue.
