Service Fees Are Increasing

Effective Thursday, November 1st, various service fees are increasing, and new service fees are being implemented.

Westoba believes it is always good business practice to regularly review, not just our fee structure, but also our products and services. We want to make sure we always meet the changing needs of our membership on an ongoing basis. This is the first fee increase in almost five years!

For personal memberships, this includes but is not limited to:

  • Transactions (debit) items over the account package limit
  • Printed Statements
  • Safety Deposit Box
  • Immediate service fees such as:
    • In branch bill payments
    • Interac ATM withdrawals

For commercial, organizational, and agricultural memberships, this includes but not limited to:

  • Safety Deposit Box
  • Immediate service fees such as:
    • Night deposit bags
    • Change of signers (NEW)
    • Cash and Coin Orders (NEW)
  • Westoba staff are happy to review your current account package and look at what other options are available to you.

How might the service fees increase impact me?

It depends what account or product package you have. If you use an account where you often go over your monthly number of transactions allotted in your package, then you will most likely see an increase in your end of month service charges.
