What do the changing hours and branch closures mean for our employees?

Our employees at these branches will be
helping Team Westoba in other ways. Its important to note any employees impacted by branch closures will continue to be compensated.

We’re here to help.

We understand that members and communities have concerns about what this might mean for their immediate and future financial situation. Westoba is here to help. We will work with you and do everything we can to get you through this. To support social distancing in our branches and provide easier digital banking options, we waived certain fees beginning March 20th for a period of 30 days.

It is apparent that financial impacts are stretching longer than the first 30 days and to continue to support the transition to digital banking we are waiving the following fees. These extended waived fees started April 20th for another 30-days and after assessing members needs, we have extended the following fees for a final additional 30 days:

As things change, we will keep you updated through email, at, and on our social channels.

We’re in this together.

How can you bank digitally during these closures?

The easiest and safest form of banking right now is through our digital options:

  1. Mobile App/Online Banking – you can bank fast and securely wherever and whenever it suits you. You can check balances and account history, send money with Interac e-Transfer®, make bill payments, and deposit cheques. If you’re not set up with access to your accounts online, it’s something our Virtual Services Team can set you up with over the phone at 1-877-WESTOBA (937-8622).
  2. Call us locally – our Virtual Services Team is available from Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 8:00pm and Saturdays 8:00am – 4:00pm by calling 1-877-WESTOBA (937-8622). We are experiencing a higher call volume at this time and have increased the employees in this department to help alleviate that. Click here to learn about everything we can help you with over the phone.
  3. ATMs and night deposit boxes – remain open at all Westoba locations.
  4. Using your debit or credit card instead of physical cash – your debit card is one of the most convenient and secure methods of accessing your funds. Credit cards are a great alternative to also earn points on your purchase.

A huge thank you to our members for practicing social distancing and for calling Virtual Services. Westoba continues to adapt to ensure we are meeting your banking needs. We’re in this together.
